Crazy Golf: Joe Miller’s 311-yard putt

We have some seen crazy things in our golfing life, like the world’s longest par three measuring over 400-yards, Tiger Woods teeing off on top of the Burj al Arab hotel in Dubai and Tony Jacklin pumping a driver across the River Thames in London.

When we heard about long drive expert Joe Miller driving the 311-yard 10th hole at the famous Brabazon Course at The Belfry Golf Resort – a former Ryder Cup venue – with an Odyssey 2-Ball Putter, we couldn’t quite believe it.

But here it is, a video of Miller’s mammoth putt:

Apparently, you too can take on the Belfry’s 10th hole driving challenge as part of the Signature Hole experience, or you could just pay a green fee and tackle it with your friends.

Joe’s shot was impressive but I’d still rather watch Seve with his swishing cutting follow through bend his persimmon driver around the corner in the heat of a Ryder Cup match – true class.

Well done Joe – but unless he made it for eagle, he three-putted the 10th and that’s never good!
